For lots of young people, Halloween is one of the best times of the year. Any chance they get to dress up as their favorite character and run around town getting tons of free candy is a win-win situation.
As a part of one of my roles at Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, I would like to help as many young people as possible enjoy the holiday. I would especially like to help those who struggle to afford it. For the past two years, we’ve collected new and gently used costumes for kids of all ages who live in area shelters and outreaches as part of our Halloween Costume Drive. This year, we have the privilege of donating to Turning Point Community Services, Apostles House, and United Community Services.
How to Donate Your Halloween Costumes
If you have some unused superhero costumes sitting in storage or princess gowns collecting dust in closets, bring them over! We would love to pass them on to children in need. As long as the costumes are age-appropriate and in great condition, donations are always welcome.
Donations can be dropped off at our Prominent Properties location at 306 Washington Street in Hoboken. You can also feel free to contact Brenda Giacumbo at 201-952-1311 or me, Paul Gulya, at 201-838-8560 to arrange a pick-up. Make sure to get your donations in by October 24th so we have plenty of time to distribute the costumes!
Thanks to everyone who can help out, and have a happy Halloween!
