I’d like to talk about one business in particular. This month’s top pick is Bistro La Source in the Paulus Hook section of Jersey City. Just steps away from Port Liberte, Bistro La Source is a quintessential French bistro with gourmet food, wonderful drinks, and exceptional service.

Every Monday, Bistro La Source offers $12 all-you-can-eat mussels. There’s a reason this place is packed at the beginning of every week, but if you can snag a table it’s more than worth it!
For $13 and a beverage, you get a gourmet array of delicious mussels. The mussels are cooked six different ways and come with delectable dipping sauces. My favorites include the white wine and butter sauce and the Thai with coconut milk. If you love spicy food, you should absolutely try the Diablo sauce.
The mussels are huge, very filling, and quite tasty. Dipping the complimentary bread into the mussel sauce is an especially delicious side meal!
Delicious Drinks
If you happen to stop in on a Monday, ask for Melissa the bartender. She’ll go out of her way to design a special drink for you depending on your mood that day. Everything she’s ever made me has been delightfully refreshing.
They also have an excellent wine selection available, which pairs wonderfully with their mussels.
